Biography

Lisa is a PhD student in Agricultural Sciences at the University of Sassari, where she focuses on remote sensing of Mediterranean pastures and the quality of livestock products.
She has collaborated with international research centers such as the James Hutton Institute in Scotland, the Universidad de Extremadura in Spain, and INRAE in Clermont-Ferrand, France, deepening her expertise in crop simulation (DSSAT, PaSim), forage quality, and integrated management of silvopastoral systems.
In Italy, she has worked at CRPA in Reggio Emilia, studying the productivity and quality of forage species, and at CREA-ZA in Modena, where she took part in projects on pasture management in multi-species livestock farms.

Lisa combines scientific rigor, technology, and a passion for the land, with the goal of promoting a more conscious and innovative agriculture.
She is passionate about science communication and education, and believes in the value of transferring practical knowledge as a driver for transforming agri-food systems.
In the classroom, she brings a multidisciplinary approach that integrates applied research, precision agriculture, and environmental awareness, guiding students and professionals toward a more integrated vision of the agri-livestock sector.
